I skipped a spring mantel, because I went big with that one last year. But I haven’t done a big summer mantel since the first summer in this house, so it was time.

  1. I love all the colours on your mantle, it definitely looks like summer and the use of the old window. Anything with an old window is a winner in my books.

  2. I love your draperies. They compliment your rug so well. Your fireplace is very, very nice. I have always loved dental molding. I use birdhouses on my mantel for summer time and I have a decoration that I hang on the wall of the mantel that has tiny little gardening gloves, a packet of seeds, tiny clay pots and a trowel. So much fun to change the mantel for the seasons.

    1. I don’t use yellow very much, but I knew it would be a perfect summer color to compliment my favorite pinks and turquoise. A lemon wreath would be so cute!! Come back and share it if you ever make it. 🙂
