Favorite Fall Finds {on a budget}

It’s that time of year when there is a very so slight hint in the air of cooler temps to come. Well, at least in the south where I live, we’re only experiencing slight hints at this point.

And the pumpkins are starting to appear at the grocery store. All of the stores at the mall are filled with jeans, puffy vests and boots. And Pottery Barn has gorgeous autumn tablescapes for days. Affiliate links are provided in this post for your convenience. Read my full disclosure policy here.

Kind of like this one.

Garden Soiree Thanksgiving Tablescape

Pottery Barn Garden Soiree – Just in case you’re throwing a huge outdoor Thanksgiving feast. 🙂

While I probably won’t be throwing a Thanksgiving Garden Soiree for all of my family and friends, you may be able to tell that I’ve been out and about shopping for Fall! And I’ve found some fabulous goodies that I wanted to share!

I’m typically frugal and don’t spend a ton of money on new home decor every month. I’ve gathered enough of a stash to be able to rotate items and “shop my house” for a different look.

But I just love decorating for fall, so I allow myself to splurge a little this time of year on some fun new decor items. I will also try to find beautiful pieces that can be used all year long, like a good throw pillow or blanket. I also love to find seasonal pieces that are easy to store, like an art print.

Favorite Fall Finds on a Budget!

I mix a few faux pumpkins in with real ones. Mostly faux florals and foliage and then a few more natural elements like fruit and vegetables. I love me some plaid, so you’ll definitely find it in my home in the fall (and year ’round.)

OK, so back to what you came here for today … my favorite fall finds!

Many of my favorite finds are in the “under $25”! Well, except for that gorgeous navy buffalo check pillow cover from Caitlin Wilson. I’ve been wanting a pair of those covers since last fall!

  1. Hi Laura, I’ve just found your blog and am loving your finds!
I would also love to know how you make the boards with all the finds on them? How do you get the products with no background? Ever done a post on how to make one? 🙂
    I’d love to know.
    Happy Weekend!

    1. Hey Kelly, I use PicMonkey, which has a free version. I use the paid version to use my own fonts, but not necessary. Most images can be found with no background. But if they have a background, I can get rid of it in Photoshop, but I have no idea how to show someone how I do it, because I kind of just feel around until it looks OK. Another good resource to use is called Olio Board. I think it will crop things for you, too. It’s a free service – so yay! I have been thinking about doing a tutorial on how to make something like this. I should get on it, huh?

  2. Hi Laura, happy weekend since I’ve been a little busy taking care of my mom couldn’t follow with plenty of time, love all these inspirations you bring, I live in Puerto Rico and as you know its very tropical, but I love decorating by seasons. And fall is one of my favorites, still if it’s hot. Got good ideas from you and I am going to use them. Thanks so much.

  3. I have been looking for something to put above our bed for a good year now and the Feather Wall Art finally fits the bill! (Not to mention it’s also 30% off right now!) Thank you so much for featuring these affordable pieces. Also snagging the acorn wreath.

  4. All of these are beautiful without being over the top holiday obvious (if that makes sense, lol).
You can use most of this year round!! And I love plaid too!!
    Great decor!

    1. Yes! I love versatile decor. I use a lot of wintery decor in my Christmas home, because once I take my trees down, everything else can stay! 🙂
