Favorite Planning Tools {Five Friday Faves: Episode 1}

Hey friend and welcome to my new video chats with you! I plan to share a new video most Friday and share 5 of my favorite things. I can be things or whatever I’m totally in to at the moment!

Watch my introduction to why I started this in the first place!

“All who have accomplished great things have had a great aim, have fixed their gaze on a goal which was high, one which sometimes seemed impossible.”

                                             —Orison Swett Marden

I am a huge fan of setting goals, but I’ve never quite goals like I have this year. And I’m loving this more in-depth process of taking the time to narrow down how I want to intentionally live in 2018. Come see what I’m using to make this year a huge goal-finishing year!

Favorite Planning Tools:

1. Emily Ley Simplified Planner. I love the pineapples planner. The calendar year are sold out for 2018, but the new academic planners come out on May 2, 2018. I shared how I use mine in this post: How to Organize Your Day.

2. Power Sheets by Lara Casey. Love, love, love, love this goal planning book. I’ve heard about these for forever and didn’t want to purchase them, but man! I’m telling ya … they have been sooooo helpful! It makes goal setting just effortless and keeping up with them all through out the year. I have NEVER done a goal setting exercise that was this helpful. I can’t wait to get to the end of the year and look back over the whole year

3. How to Plan our Your Whole Year at Once. I got this idea from Lauren at Restored 316. She shared how to printed out a printable calendar for each month and then filled in everything from conferences to school breaks and everything in between.

Printable Monthly Planner Calendar Page (print 12 and fill them in!)

Washi Tape (similar and would probably work better!)

Dot Stickers

Updated: I ended up making my own Dry Erase Wall Calendar with a free calendar printable! Check it out here!

4. Meal Planning Sheets {free printable}

Pick up Grocery Services: Shipt, InstaCart, Walmart Grocery Pick-up, Kroger ClickList

I also have used and love Hello Fresh. If you need a meal delivery service – and when you click this link, you’ll get $40 off your first box!

5. Pilot Precise V5 extra fine ball point pens. Love these pens! My new favorite for writing smoothly on any paper and not bleeding through! Lots of fun colors, too.

That’s it! I hope you find this helpful and I can’t wait to share my new favorite clothes next week!

xo, Laura
