Yesterday was mine and my husband’s 3rd wedding anniversary. Time flies when you’re having fun! Well, on one hand time has flown, and on the other hand we’ve packed so much into three years that it seems like it’s been 10.
We’ve completely gutted and renovated a house, we’ve moved twice, had a baby (with me on bedrest for a month, and our daughter in the NICU for a week all during Thanksgiving and Christmas), lost a job, had two job transfers, bought a new house, sold a house, both had surgeries, and more! It seems like big life changes and decisions just follow us around. Here’s hoping that the next 3 years will be an adventure, but maybe a little more boring. 🙂
To celebrate, my husband bought me a nice reciprocating saw. I love it!
And now I can tackle some of the pallets that have been sitting in my garage for a month. I may need a sander, but that shouldn’t cost too much.
And so I should have some pallet shelves built soon. I’m hoping to make some for my daughters room because she needs some book shelves, desperately.
I bought my husband an axe for our anniversary. What can I say? We like our tools around here.
