Happy Fall-i-Days Home Tour

Welcome to my Happy Fall-i-days Home Tour! I’m so glad you’ve stopped by. You probably think you’ve already seen all of home all dressed up for Fall, but guess what? I saved one room for today! And while I was at it, I straightened up the rest of the living area and snapped some pics.

I hope you enjoy all of the Fall-i-rizing I’ve done around here. Fall-i-rizing = accessorizing for Fall, in case you didn’t know. It took me a while to get it all pretty for pictures, especially with a toddler home sick from preschool. So make sure you wash your hands when you leave. 🙂

Come on in!

I won’t keep you waiting, so we’ll make a sharp left through the front door and I’ll show you the dining room dressed up for Fall! I even set the table for you.

{Sorry to burst your bubble, but that’s just watered-down apple juice in the wine glasses. The two-year-old may or may not have tried to drink it while I was taking pictures. And did you notice that I only have four side chairs? The plan is to make a bench for one side of the table at some point. When I’m bored. Ha!}

I found this beautiful patchwork runner after Christmas last year at Pottery Barn. I hit them up the day after Christmas and scored some lovely finds. It’s hard to find a table runner long enough for my table, but this one fits perfectly! {They don’t have it listed online, but I almost bought this one last year.}

Instead of buying new Fall napkins, which I intend to do at some point, I found some fun fabric at Joann’s and wrapped my plain white napkins with it.

I wrapped an old glass vase in burlap and tied it with a fabric scrap, then filled it with faux berries, twigs and leaves to create my centerpiece. I love a good tall centerpiece on a long table.

Here you get a glimpse of my new drop cloth curtains. I’ve hemmed them, but I still want to embellish them in some way. I just didn’t get a chance before this tour. I love how they give a neutral backdrop and I can decorate with whatever colors I want. And when it’s summer, I’ll bring back my other curtains.

Don’t you just love those wreaths hanging on the backs of the chairs? I completely copied Jennifer Rizzo. I couldn’t stop staring at hers, so I made my own. Her fall home tour is absolutely gorgeous!

I love my fall vignette in the entry way. Find out all of the details here.

I changed out some of the art in my framed art gallery in my entry way. Some of the other prints had a summer vibe.

Now, on to the living room. I’ve posted about my Fall mantel here and here.

Now, we’ll hang a left through the living room and head into the eat-in kitchen. I kept things simple and casual in here because we eat here all the time and it’s typically covered in milk, juice and whatever Miss A’s eating at the time. I cleaned it for you, can’t you tell? Yet there’s no need to get fancy.

I created a runner our of a gingham table cloth I bought from my best friend’s grandmother at our yard sale last week. Can’t beat $2! And I added some pine cones in a bowl to bring in the natural element. Perfectly simple for Fall.

And then we’ll round out our tour by going back into the living room to check out the gallery wall. I added a “scrappy” pumpkin to my kitchen bar counter.

I love this Fall Subway art that I had printed on canvas. Typography is one of my favorite ways to decorate, so this just makes me so happy!
