I love my wooden box that I created this past spring and have used it either on my dining room table or on my mantel ever since. I plan to keep it out in my decor for … well, ever. 😉

I made the box with some rustic barn wood that I had in my scrap pile and my trusty Kreg Jig. It was such a simple project that can be made with a basic piece of wood from the hardware store. So, before you go any further, stop right now and make yourself a simple wooden box for your centerpiece. (Full tutorial here.) 😊 Just make sure the width is wide enough to fit a regular sized mason jar.

After the sides look good, add your mini pumpkins or floral stems in the mason jars. Depending on what you’re using, you may need to add more floral stems inside the mason jars to make them look right.
