I think one of the best parts of having kids is getting to do all of the kiddie stuff and seeing it through your child’s eyes. Like the pumpkin patch. This year is the first year where Miss A can really enjoy a pumpkin patch and the hubby and I were so excited!
She was not excited about posing for the family picture, but we snapped one anyway. Memories, right?
We have an awesome pumpkin patch near our house with a petting zoo, hayrides, funnel cakes!!, corn cribs (bins filled with corn to play in – Miss A hated it – ha!), swings and tons of fun slides of all sizes.
I kept asking her “what are they?”, referring to the pumpkins. And she kept putting her hands up like this. Too funny! She’s probably thinking, “umm, Mom, you brought me here. How come you don’t know what these are?”
Little girl loves animals and the bunnies were a big hit. I just love seeing her smile. Nothing better as a mama!
The first time we went on a weekend with the whole family and a friend. But I also had a Groupon I’d bought at the beginning of the month to go during a week day. I decided we better use it on Friday before the weather got cold and while hubby was at an away football game. Something fun to get us out of the house!
The first time we went, she wasn’t feeling well, but she was feeling much better on Friday.
I had a hard time pulling her away from the slides. She’s really gotten good at sliding on her own in the past month. I can’t complain because it wears her out. Yay for good, hard play!
She’s getting so big!
I tried to get her picture with the little pumpkin house on our way out. But that did not go over well, as you can see. Ha!
She did not like for me to leave her up there all by herself. Check out that face! Love her. 🙂
Do you have a fun pumpkin farm near you? Did you go this year?
