Nativity Displays, Kitchen Wreaths & 99 Merry Christmas Ideas (HSS #481)
It’s the first full weekend of December, and whew! It’s a busy one! Cookies with Santa, a Grinch party, Christmas lights walks, cookie-making with friends… all the festive things packed into a few magical days. I’ve even started taking new routes home at night just to catch fresh Christmas lights in the neighborhood. I love the twinkle lights so much… and seeing the trees glow in the windows.
But as much as I love the bustle, my favorite tradition is the quiet at the end of the day… when the house is tucked in and I sit in the living room by the glow of the tree. Sometimes I wrap a gift or finish a little work, sometimes I just enjoy a cozy Christmas movie, but that peaceful sparkle is something I look forward to all season long.
