Cozy Winter Decorating, Healthy New Year Habits & a Simple DIY Wreath (HSS #485)
Wow! What a week! It truly feels like a lifetime has passed since last Saturday. We spent a few sweet days with my family in Nashville celebrating Christmas with my parents, brothers, their wives, and all of our kids.
Then on Monday, we received the call that my grandmother had passed away. She had been suffering from dementia for several years, so while it wasn’t unexpected, it was still incredibly sad when the moment finally came. We laid her to rest yesterday after a long week of travel, one that was heavy, but also filled with precious family time. We will miss her dearly, yet I’m so thankful she’s no longer suffering and is finally at peace.
Somewhere in the middle of it all, we even rang in the New Year. So, it’s been a little bit of a whirlwind this week. I hope you’re getting your home and life back to normal after the holidays. I haven’t had time to take down my Christmas decor yet, but hoping to start on Monday!
