Hydrangea Decorating Ideas, Summer Tablescapes & Easy Room Refreshes (HSS #507)
Happy weekend! We’re fully settled into our summer routine now and embracing all the nostalgic ’90s summer vibes: riding bikes to the pool, coloring in coloring books, heading off to summer camps, cheering at swim meets, and spending lots of time with friends. I love how summer naturally pulls us away from screens and into real-life fun. There’s just something special about long days filled with activity, sunshine, laughter, and making memories together.
My husband is coaching our local summer swim team this year, and while it’s been a lot of work, it’s also been so much fun. The team even won its first swim meet of the season this past week!
We’ve also jumped on the fancy marker and grown-up coloring book trend this summer. It’s been such a great alternative to screen time and even something relaxing to do while watching a movie in the evenings. I ordered these markers and coloring books, and my 10-year-old hasn’t stopped coloring since they arrived. Honestly, I may be enjoying them just as much as she is!
