Christmas Tour 2013: Pretty in Plaid

|

One would think that since the name of my blog relates to the color Turquoise, then my Christmas would be turquoise. But one would be mistaken. 🙂 This year I just felt the tug to go traditional. I know the blogland is chock-full of beautiful hot pink and bright blue amazing Christmas spaces, but traditional just felt right this year. Kind of homey and cozy.

And I have fallen in love with plaid. If there’s a way to incorporate it or buy it for Christmas, then I’m all in. It just screams traditional, rustic & woodsy to me.

Although I’m still loving all things metallic too. I’m especially enamored with mercury glass this time of year. I don’t have it everywhere, but little hints here and there.

So cozy up next to the fire …

Pour a cup of tea or … coffee. And add some yummy peppermint mocha creamer {because that’s my fave}!

And settle in for my home tour.

Welcome …

    1. Thanks Christine! The chairs and slipcovers are from a store called PD’s in Franklin, Tennessee. They always have different selection and don’t have an online store, so I don’t think there’s any way to get anymore. Sorry that’s not more helpful! 🙂
