Affordable Winter Jeans and Sweaters

I’ve found some great, affordable winter fashion finds that I know you will love!

As much as I love summer, spring and fall, I feel like my wardrobe shines brightest in the colder months. Sweater weather has my heart! It’s just soooo cozy!

For the past few years, I’ve found great quality pieces for my wardrobe at Walmart. The prices are affordable and the styles are cute! I wore a dress I found this summer to my cousin’s wedding and it was so comfortable and I felt great in it. And at only $30, it made my wallet happy, too!

For reference I am 5’7″, normally wear an XL in tops and a 14-16 in jeans and a size 11 shoe.

Last winter I found a great sweater that I still wear all the time, so I wanted to add to my collection this year!

I’ve been looking for a pretty green sweater for the holidays and winter, and I found it! Let me show you.

The three tops I got from the Free Assembly line are so cute and of such great quality! And the Levi Strauss jeans in straight and bootcut feel like my other higher-priced brand jeans. Let me share what I got, along with some full outfit ideas!

First up is this mid-weight green cable knit sweater. It comes in several other colors, including a merlot red color. And it’s a nice light to mid-weight so it’s perfect for layering under blazers, sweaters, vests and jackets. I paired it with a pair of flare jeans (size 14 Plus) and a wedge faux leather boot. It’s so easy to throw together for a casual winter look that is also great for the holidays, too! Watch my stories on Instagram to get the video version of me trying them on.

I did go up one size in the sweater because I didn’t want to have a clingy sweater, and it was the right choice. The fit is perfect!

This next sweater is one of my favorites from the Time & Tru brand. It’s an oversized cable knit mock-neck sweater that is super cute and feels so cozy. I paired it with some basic black leggings, socks and a Chelsea boot. If you have thicker ankles, go up a size in the shoe. Everything else fits true to size!

Then I got an adorable Fair Isle sweater that is so soft and cozy! The neutral colors mean it will work until February or even March. The turtleneck top isn’t too tight, but I like to tuck it inside, so it doesn’t stand too tall. The sweater runs true to size.

And the bootcut jeans feel like my higher-end jeans. I’ve shared the ankle boots before, but they are comfortable, run true to size and are a great neutral shoe.

Lastly, I chose this beautiful heavy-weight satin flutter-sleeve top and some straight-leg jeans that I cuffed on the bottom. I paired them with a ballet flat slipper with a gold embellishment. And this would be great for a festive holiday party in the daytime. If it’s chilly outside, just throw a cardigan over it or a jacket. And add a festive earring for a full holiday look!
