Happy Monday! At least I think you’ll be happy when you see my Fall Mantel. I know I am … I can hardly stop looking at it. {Or maybe it’s because I had my spring & summer mantel up for so long. Ha!}

The air is just beginning to change here, and the sights, sounds, feel of fall is beginning to happen. I am loving it!

Last year I did a pretty colorful Fall display. And I really loved it, but I wanted to do something simpler this year. Something like my spring and summer mantel that can carry over for more than just a few months. I wanted something I could even transition throughout winter by just changing a couple of things. It’s funny how I feel like my style changes as time goes on.

I decided to go simple, kind-of neutral with two colors: green and orange. I’ll share more about the details of my mantel tomorrow, but today I just wanted to share my view from the couch. πŸ™‚ Now, if I could only convey the smell of my spiced pumpkin candle through the screen, you’d be all set. Enjoy!

  22. Love the simple, clean look without clutter. I wish I could do that … I just never know when to stop adding stuff.
    Thanks for the inspiration.

    1. Ha! I did add more and then took it away. When I add stuff and it starts to get cluttered, I just start taking stuff off. πŸ™‚ I have a couple more things to make that I might add along the way. Or may not, depending on how it looks.

      And then sometimes I’m jealous of the people who can add a bunch of stuff to a room or shelf/mantel and it just looks gorgeous! πŸ™‚

      Have a happy weekend, Audrey!

  23. I adore the fresh simplicity of your mantel! Very calming, yet definitely hints of the new season.

  24. The three green apples make this mantel so special – They seem to pair well with the pumpkin art and the pallet wood.

  25. I love it Laura!! It is so beautiful, clean, simple and classic… but with a little fun rustic edge with the pallet and bunting. I love how you know when to stop – perhaps I haven’t gotten there yet:) lol!

  26. Less is MORE, Laura!! And you knocked this one out of the park! I absolutely LOVE it!! I’m lovin’ the pumpkiin on the candlestick…. I have some of those myself! πŸ™‚

  27. I LOVE your mantle! I’m feeling done with the typical orange, rust, brown and tan fall colors. I like that you brought in green and orange with lots of cream and white. So fresh, so fun! Thanks for sharing!!

  28. Looks great. I love the simple look. My mantel hardly ever changes but maybe I’ll do something fall-ish that can go to Thanksgiving and then it’ll give me a reason to redo it while on maternity leave.

  29. Your Living Room is so gorgeous. I don’t know how you pull off all the subtle textures but it looks amazing! Great job on the mantle the vignette is divine.

    Much Love,
    Trisha D.
