Fall Decorating Ideas 2022
Gather inspiration for your home with some Fall decorating ideas for 2022! Use new & old cozy items and warm colors to transition perfectly into autumn!
Last year was the first big year that I decorated for fall and I loved how simple, yet cozy my home was last year. It was a perfect transition from summer to the holidays. So, I plan to repeat a lot of the same, but I like to add a few new items each year.
And making these design boards helps me see how it all works together before I put things in my online cart!
Instead of doing a total overhaul of all my decor, I’ve decorated with more year ’round items. And I change out a few things here and there.
I’d rather add a few nice pieces to my seasonal decor collection that buy all new stuff each year. Give me classic pieces over clutter! And I like reusing the pieces I’ve used before. Let’s make an investment in some pieces and use them over and over again.
So, I’ll share a visions for some spaces in my home and hopefully that will inspire you, too!

The Fall Living Room
I’ve gathered items I have and some new items for my fall living room inspiration board. Some new pillows are coming with lots of texture and you can see the new chairs and ottoman I’d like to add soon!
I’ve used these Palna pillow covers for several years, so I thought it would be fun to add some new pillows to the mix this year! This chunky cable knit pillow cover adds a lot of texture, and this embroidered patterned lumbar pillow brings the blues and taupes together!
I invested in two of these large artisan vases last year for holding my favorite golden autumn leaf stems – and will use them again. The color of the vases is perfect for fall!

One of my favorite ways to update the decor in my living room is by changing the art on my Frame TV. It’s inexpensive, easy and makes a big impact. I’ve rounded up some of my favorite Fall Frame TV art this year!
I will put some of my blue, green or neutral pumpkins around. Then I’ll gather up some fall colored throw blankets, change out some picture frames and we’re good to go!
The Fall Dining Room
This is going to be a fun one to share since my dining room now looks so different following my dining room makeover! I tries to choose colors that would transition to every season and I’m excited to see how it works with fall colors.
I’ve already bought some pumpkin plates and they look great. Now, I just need to decorate the rest of the room.

Fall in the Kitchen
And finally the kitchen! I don’t change much in here, but I always change out the scalloped frames with some seasonal free printable art!

And I’ll add some pretty fall stems either on the island or on the kitchen table.
It’s always a fun time of year to redecorate. I do a lot more for fall than I do for spring and summer, so it may seem a little bit extra. But we’re just gearing up for holiday decor, right? So fun!!
