This 4-ingredient marshmallow hot cocoa topper will be sure to please this holiday season. Young and old will love the yummy & colorful addition to their drinks (or eat alone). Yum!

    Hot Cocoa Toppers

I am obsessed with hot chocolate (or hot cocoa) this time of year and nothing tastes better on hot chocolate than marshmallows. One year I made some homemade marshmallows and they were to die for!

But if you don’t want to make your own and the regular ol’ mini marshmallows aren’t cutting it for you, then you’ll love these sweet and super simple Christmas tree marshmallow hot cocoa toppers. You just need 4 ingredients!

An easy Hot Chocolate Bar. Perfect for entertaining or just enjoying for yourself all winter long!

    Easy Hot Chocolate Station

Side note: I set up a really fun hot chocolate station last year on my dining room buffet and we looooved it all winter long. So, be sure to check out all of those details here. These hot cocoa toppers would make the perfection addition to any hot chocolate bar. Just store them in one of the closed jars I use and they will last a long while – definitely until the weather turns warm again!

Ingredients for the Christmas Tree Marshmallow Hot Cocoa Toppers:

    • 12 Kraft Jet-Puffed S’moremallows
    • 12 oz package of Wilton light blue candy melts
    • White snowflake sprinkles
    • 12 Christmas Tree icings

Directions to make the Christmas Tree Marshmallow Hot Cocoa Toppers:

Line a large baking sheet with wax paper (easy clean-up).

Pour the Wilton light blue candy melts into a microwave safe dish and heat in the microwave in 30 second increments, stirring occasionally until melted.

Pour the blue candy on the marshmallow.

Use a small spoon or spatula to gently spread the melted chocolate on marshmallow leaving a small amount of white at the bottom.

    Hot Cocoa Toppers

Place a tree onto the marshmallow and melted chocolate.

Add a few snowflake sprinkles around the tree.

    Repeat with all the marshmallows.

Enjoy as is OR in hot cocoa.
