I’ve made a “North Pole” crate before for my tree, back when it was harder to find fun stands to purchase. I’ve also used a galvanized tree collar and a basket-style tree collar (made for a Christmas tree). And I’d love to experiment with other ideas next Christmas.

  1. Those are some clever and unique ideas for Christmas tree stands! For several years I have been using a Urn flower pot as my tree stand but this year I wanted to do something different. I used my families old milk can (black and rusting) as my stand! Very pleased how it turned out!
