Welcome to Miss A’s Room! I can’t believe that she’s almost 2 and I just now finished her room just the way I want it. Now, granted, we had to move to a new house and I had to finally go to Atlanta to pick up her IKEA shelving. This room is definitely a collected, long-term labor of love. Enjoy!
You may remember the DIY Instagram photo collage I showed you a few months ago, and I was planning to put it in her room. But the chevron background was too much. So, I ripped it out, turned it sideways and added some jute, as I’ve seen done many times on other blogs and on Pinterest. I plan on adding more photos as I get more mini clothespins.
I’m loving my new IKEA Expedit shelving. It was so easy to assemble and it’s very sturdy. Love the extra storage, too!
And let’s take one last look at the inspiration board I made for her nursery…
Crib bedding: Coco Dot Bedding from Pottery Barn Kids
Art above the crib: Cherry Blossom Art from PBK
Pom poms: Prost to the Host Etsy shop
Curtain fabric: Premier Prints ZigZag Twill in Girly Blue
Hoop fabrics: Liberty of London fabrics from Purl Soho
Paint color: Cream Puff by Benjamin Moore
“You Are Loved” print: Centsational Girl
Inspiration for DIY Bird canvas paintings: Under the Sycamore
