Decorating can be a very creative process and it’s so fun to see so many amazing home decorators take creative twists on the more traditional tree stands and tree skirts. From tires to wooden barrels, from thrifted drums to every basket imaginable, these creative Christmas tree stands are fun and inspirational!
I recently shared my new basket Christmas tree stand and it got me thinking about all the fun ways to decorate the bottom part of the Christmas tree. I’ve made a “North Pole” crate before for my tree, back when it was harder to find fun stands to purchase. I’ve also used a galvanized tree collar and a basket-style tree collar (made for a Christmas tree). And I’d love to experiment with other ideas next Christmas.

Those are some clever and unique ideas for Christmas tree stands! For several years I have been using a Urn flower pot as my tree stand but this year I wanted to do something different. I used my families old milk can (black and rusting) as my stand! Very pleased how it turned out!
